has been around for over seventy years. I stumbled upon my grandmother Snooky’s original carrot cake recipe while renovating her kitchen in Charlotte, North Carolina. The recipe was etched on the back of a cabinet that I was about to discard. One leisurely Saturday I decided to bake the cake from the recipe that Mama Snooky left behind. I did so and you know what, it was the most delicious carrot cake I ever tasted.
